Inside DP Ruto’s New Prayer Alter In His Karen Home

Inside DP's Ruto Church

After years of generous contributions to church Harambees and hefty donations to the house of God, DP William Ruto and his wife Mama Rachel Ruto thought it wise to open a National Prayer Altar at the Official Residence of the Deputy President in Karen.

Mama Rachel Ruto took it to Twitter to share a couple of photos of the state of the art altar which has excited her fans. The power couple has always been open about their religious ways maintaining that their faith and belief are the reasons why they keep pushing hard which has made them successful.

“And David built there an altar to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. Thus the LORD was moved by prayer for the land, and the plague was held back from Israel” (2 Samuel 24:25),” she went ahead to quote

During the opening ceremony, they were joined by fathers of faith and key leaders with influence. The simplicity of the altar is breathtaking and the blend of a red an blue carpet on the floor against white chairs for the congregants oozes an ambience of vibrancy, tranquillity and dedication in the presence of God.

Many have lauded Mama Rachel Ruto, who has stood DP Ruto through their faith and supporting him despite his political backlash.

“The fervent prayer of a righteous woman availeth much. Thru you, woman of God, Your Husband will defeat all His enemies and detractors. The Betrayal is so much so that The victory can be sweetest and magnificent. To God then return all the glory,” commented one Josephine on the church.

But others felt there are much more pressing matters in the country that needed the DP’s attention rather than prayers and opening ceremony for a church.

“This country does not need prayers. The country needs action against corruption, mismanagement, nepotism, tribalism et al,” one Mateso ranted.
