Infinix S5 is Official with Quad Cameras, Punch Hole Screen and Large Battery

Infinix S series of phones has hit the 5th iteration with the announcement of the S5. The smartphone, which went live today is the same camera-centric handheld that has been sold in the past for people who love snapping good pictures, but for the cheap.

The new S5 features a 6.6-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The screen is roughly the same size as that of the TECNO Camon 12. It also brings a 32 MP selfie snapper of the Camon 12 Air kind, that is, it is the punched into the display to drop the need for a notch.

On the back is an impressive quad-camera array that features four lenses: a 16 MP, 5 MP, 2MP and 5 MP sensors as the main, ultrawide, depth information sensor and macro units, respectively.

The Inifnix S5 is powered by a Helio P22 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Android 9 Pie is in tow alongside Infinix’s skin, XOS version 5.5.

There is ample 64 GB of internal storage, as well as a slot for micro SDs.

As has been the case with previous Infinix devices, the S5 does not shy away from shipping with a large cell at 4000 mAh.

Kenya’s availability and pricing have not been revealed, but that information should not be a secret for a very long time.

Stay tuned.
