How do you like your Guinness? To its family, Guinness recently added a brand new product dubbed Guinness Smooth, a distinctive, flavourful beer with the perfect balance of sweet and bitter to achieve smoothness and refreshment that enjoyable by everyone, for the Kenyan market.
Brewed using only the finest natural ingredient sourced locally, Guinness Smooth is a blend of coffee, rich notes from the roasted barley and a fruity, butterscotch flavor.
“Guinness has a centuries-long tradition of brewing distinctive, extraordinary beers and Guinness Smooth is no different. Our latest launch continues the Guinness commitment to bring consumers flavourful beers which they can enjoy on more occasions.

The local brewing team worked closely with the international brewers in Dublin, the home of Guinness, to delivered an exciting and special beer, perfect for casual get-togethers with friends.
“I am passionate about developing character-led, flavourful beers so it has been great to work collaboratively with local brewers Mr. Kennedy Mwangi and Mr. Peter Oduor here in Kenya. With their local knowledge on taste and what resonates with customers here, and my experience of creating new beers, together we have crafted a product that is perfect for everyone in Kenya to enjoy when out to catch up with a friend,” said Peter Simpson, the Dublin based brewer.
Best enjoyed when served fresh and chilled between 3°C and 7°C, the new Guinness Smooth retails at Ksh 160 per 500ml bottle, with Alcohol By Volume amounting to 4.5%
