Budget Infinix Hot 7 Goes on Sale in Two Variants

Infinix Hot 7

Infinix has today unveiled the budget series Hot 7 into the Kenyan Market. The Infinix Hot 7 succeeds Infinix Hot 6 which was launched in May last year with Hot 6X and Hot 6 pro variations.

Similar to other models already in the market, the Infinix Hot Note 7 comes in two variants: the lite model with 16GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM, and a 13/8 MP camera configuration. The Hot 7 runs Android 8.1 Go Edition. It costs Kshs 9,999, whereas the Pro version with 32GB/2GB memory and dual rear cameras retails at Kshs 10,999.

The major difference between the two devices is in the optics department, where the Pro model adopts two primary sensors (13 MP and 2 MP) in line with modern smartphone photography. The Pro has more memory and RAM too. The last major difference is in the OS they are running; the ordinary Hot 7 runs Android Go Edition that is easy on resources and should execute day to day tasks just fine with 1 GB of RAM.

The Hot 7’s screen size has grown to 6.27-inches. Both displays have a HD+ resolution, which should be just fine for media consumption.

The phones also come in a variety of colours to choose from including Midnight Black, Cosmic Purple, Champagne Gold and Aqua Blue.

Each has a sealed 4000mAh battery capacity, with a smart battery management system that should extend usage times. The battery sizes have traditionally been large and we are glad the manufacturer has continued with this trend.
