Spreading the good work of God in entertainment joints where the devil is at the heart of sin is what most preachers would shy away from, as it is almost an impossible task to dominate in the devil’s stronghold, lest one gets carried away by the wave of sin.
However, Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner Paul Makonda has granted permission to religious leaders to preach in pubs and entertainment joints so that people can hear the word of God so that they do not complain that they did not hear it. With the authority of the areas regional commissioner, Makonda gave a stern warning to club owners who will block the preachers from accessing these entertainment sites, as the long arm of the law will not be lenient in punishing them.

Lots of social media users, were not for the idea, claiming that it is dangerous and most of the owners of these entertainment joints will not be willing to tolerate men of God in their money-making business.
In August, Makonda announced a plan to create and publish a national database of married men to cleanse the society of infidelity. He said that women came crying to him that they had been abandoned by their lovers after a marriage proposal and in his decision on how to help solve the matter the thought of having a planned database will help with the heartbreaks.
Makonda had added that the government was looking at other countries in the Southern African Development Community to understand how they have dealt with such challenges so that he can soon enforce laws to protect women who have been falsely promised marriage by men.
