The Government of Kenya through KNBS will be conducting the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census in August, 2019 and is inviting anyone willing to apply for the temporary positions available. Each position has a different gross remuneration and contract period.The activity will take 23 days that is from the 12th August to 2nd September 2019.
There are 2,700 posts for the ICT supervisors and for the content supervisors. 135,000 post for the enumerators and all these posts are to be distributed in all counties.
Applicants are required to write a cover letter to relevant County Statistics Officer indicating the position being applied for stating the reference number,Identification number details, Academic qualifications, County, Sub-county,division,location,sub-location and the village/estate of residence.
They are also required to attach copies of their National Identification card,Academic qualifications and any other relevant certificates.Each applicant must have an active M-Pesa number or a bank account registered under their name which will be used to make payments at the end of the exercise.
All applications are supposed to submit their application forms by 24th June 2019. ICT supervisors to submit to the respective County Statistics Offices, content supervisor to submit to chief’s office and the enumerators to the assistant chief’s office. KNBS does not allow any online applications nor are you supposed to make any payments during application.
